Attending Gaming Expo at SXSW 2018

We took a break from work for a day and decided to visit the Gaming Expo here in town at SXSW conference. The Gaming Expo continues to grow every year and it has become one of the best places to try new games, shake hands with famous people, and of course, find new friends and colleagues.

We learned about Texas Video Game Students Meet Up, lead by Robert Byant and decided to pay a visit. We made our way to the meeting room and found a large group of young, and talented students, who are extremely passionate about the video gaming industry. Many were looking for ways to contribute and get into the gaming industry to start their careers. We engaged in a conversation with a few of them, and a question was asked: “What do we do?”. We mentioned the Brawler.Zone game we are currently working on and even showed a small teaser-prototype. All of a sudden we realized we were surrounded by many people who were volunteering to help us. This was an amazing experience and completely unexpected. We ended up exchanging contact information and we are looking forward to extending our team with new talent shortly.

Stay tuned for more details about our team as we continue to grow.
